RELATIONSHIP OF PLANETS

[Hamid]

The planets have three types of relationship, they are neutral, friendly or have enmity with each other.
Further this relationship is of two types:

1. NASIRGIKA [permanent] friendly relationship...... this is by the planets from their mooltricon position with the lord of 2nd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, and 12th houses plus with the lord of the exalted sign of each planet. The lord of other houses is its enemy. The planet which has feature of both [friend and enemy] are treated as neutral.

2.TATKALIKA [temporary] friendly relationship.....this is by the planets as placed in their natal position in a horoscope [charra position]. Planets placed 2nd,3rd,4th,10th,11,and 12th from another are mutual friends of that planet in other houses they are enemy.

HERE I WILL EXPLAIN HOW THIS RELATIONSHIP IS CALCULATED FOR EACH PLANET.

Libra…………Enemy [3rd house lord] …. Venus.
Scorpio…… Friend [4th house lord …… Mars.

Aquarius……Enemy [7th house lord] …. Saturn.

From the above distribution we can see that Moon, Mars and Jupiter are friend of Sun whereas Venus and Saturn are its enemies. MERCURY which is friendly as lord of Virgo is also an enemy as lord of Gemini therefore, we class Mercury as Neutral with Sun.

Jupiter, Venus and Saturn are friend, Sun , Moon and Mars are enemy whereas Mercury is neutral with Rahu.

KETU: [as per BPHS]
Mars, Venus and Saturn are its friend. Sun and Moon are considered its enemy whereas Mercury and Jupiter are neutral with Ketu.
