Agreed.. i think it would be suitable for her to do Hommam Pooja..as u said, that either do the planet mantra or do Pooja..so I think she will go with second option of Pooja.. so , what to tell the priest?

I asked 4-5 pandit/ priests but they don't understand this Homam Pooja..is there any other name to it possibly in Hindi/ Marathi language..

It's the Pooja using lighting fire with special wood n quicker communication with deities. Fire must be used. Hope it's now clear n to the priests. Let me know when appointments are made.

You need to Google n be helpful n not try to be spoonfed, also ask from knowledgeable Hindu families.

We have performed both the Poojas on separate date..

Actually, here the priests say havan and not Homam and that's why the confusion.. but now it's amply clear..

Both the Havans costed Rs.11k plus another Rs.1k as temple charges. This is about USD150..This includes all charges..
