Astrological datasets

Here, then, are all the horoscopes in my possession. I invite Forum members to make whatever use of these they please, and to forward them to any interested parties.

I note that some have saved at Excel spreadsheets and others the Word equivalent. Please advise any difficulty in opening the files.

For the Attention of the Forum,

Noting that the datasets are drawing some considerable interest, but that postings remain (speaking charitably) sparse, I am happy to offer the attached, entitled "Ascendant Planets".

This new attachment takes a different stance from earlier uses of the datasets. here I have allowed myself to be less rigorous and more inclusive of the data. For each Planet, when Conjunct with the Ascendant, I have produced a table and histogram putting the occupations in order- an occupation spectrum, if you will.

There are a couple of surprises in the traditional planets. Mars has little to say on the military dataset, but it should be born in mind that this contains many sailors (Neptune) and air personnel (Uranus). No other dataset is so profoundly split between three elements (army=earth, navy=water, air=... well, air). Saturn has an extraordinary predilection for two occupations not traditionally associated with that stern body- but which I think I explain (rather than explain away).

More importantly, however, the method offers some strong information on the real character of several of the Transneptunians.

This is a busy time of year for me, but I look forward to hearing the Members' opinion. It is currently my hope to add Culminating Planets (those on the Midheaven) before Easter- the capricious gods willing (or better, indifferent).
