Is there an “astrological language”, one in which every word has a direct correspondence to the phenomenon it names? Since every phenomenon is ruled by some planet, and speech sounds are themselves distinct phenomena, it seems possible that the “correct” speech sounds could be assembled to make such a name. There are, however, many difficulties. This essay details my attempts to compose a methodology for finding “astrological” words, and applies this experimentally to a limited vocabulary, including one personal name.
