Promotion

I accepted a promotion at work this week which will take effect at the end of the month. My department will be growing in size and I’ll be the supervisor going forward. Im nervous to start my new role but I know it will be a good learning experience. Any advice ? Was it a good decision on my part?

You've had Transiting Saturn opposing Moon, Mercury and Mars and this is very powerful. This is about managing your communications and frustrations, so be watchful of this. Soon it will oppose Juno and Pluto, but I think you will have learned a bit of patience by then. Note to self: "don't leap to conclusions, it is best to wait and find out if that is the best course of action".

Neptune is also opposing your Moon, Mercury and Mars too which may make you a little light headed and focusing will someone be a little, off centred. Ask people what to do and get advice in new situations, especially as you have a little tendency to jump the gun at times.

Jupiter us squaring your Moon, then Mercury and Mars. This will be a double challenge but one you will find you can manage with some inner work. Uranus is sitting on your Jupiter and will energise opportunities as it is coming from the 12th house and into the 1st house, and this is an exciting time for you.

Career changes are always interesting, challenging and frustrating, so just be mindful of these things and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the advice. Very impatient especially in personal relationships. As far as work goes, I was unsure whether or not I wanted the promotion but received a lot of encouragement from my coworkers and current supervisor to apply so I did. I’m nervous, I have been the “ team lead” for four years and my supervisor has trained me already on a lot of what she does. The department is growing in size though and we will have 3-4 new employees by end of June/ early July .

I will be the supervisor of a billing department in a home infusion pharmacy.

I had posted my chart in another forum and someone commented on a younger male coworker? He said I would be getting advice from this person..I don’t really have a close contact like that at this job but am friends with someone who does the same type of work as a supervisor also for a different company, we did work together at one point for two years but he left over a year ago. He knows his stuff, he’s been a pharmacy tech for over twenty years so I can’t imagine confiding in anyone other than him. Is this who he could be referring to?
