Greetings,
This question is primarily for Hamid Ji, though if any other astrologers have insights related to this matter, all insight is welcome.
I am reading through KAT Vol. 2, and I would like to first express my gratitude to you for sharing your research in these volumes. It has been very interesting to see this method working with charts of people I know.
My question: I have seen some charts in both volumes of KAT thus far in which a planet which ordinarily could produce a result during its Antardasa will not do so due to being positioned 12th from the house that would normally be responsible for producing a result. However, reading the description of chart 92 (7th house marriage), the Antardasa of Moon had given marriage as samdharmi to Mars, lord of E; but Mars itself is positioned 12th from E.
What was the reason for Mars (Moon Antardasa) to still be able to give the result, despite this position? Is this because Mars is still in C (i.e. Lord of E if located in C will not prevent results the same way LOE in A will), or is only the samdharmi planet able to give the result due to being placed in a neutral house (i.e. Mars Antardasa itself would not support)?
Thank you in advance.

Re: 12th from Own House
I appreciate your interest in my research work.
I also appreciate your understanding of the subject.
Moon Antardasa came before the Antardasa of Mars, therefore as a Samdharmi Moon gave marriage in its Antardasa.
[when a samdharmi has an antardasa before the planet for which it is acting as samdharmi, then a samdharmi will give the event.
Clarifying 12th from D: Any planet when lord of D placed 12th from its house will not be able to give the event, however a samdharmi is not affected and gives the event in its Antardasa for the lord of D.
Clarifying 12th from E: Yes you have understood correctly ... Lord of E when placed 12th from E then it is in the Upachaya house and not affected [this law of as for 12th from D does not apply]. Mars as LOE placed in C does not lose its ability to give the event.
wishing you Good Luck for your study.

Re: 12th from Own House
There are conditions where Moon as Samdharmi to Mars will not give the event.
These have not been written in KAT- Vol 1 and 2. However these are being covered in Volume 3 and 4.
[Vol- 3 is now available on Amazon].
[ I thought writing in first 2 volume will make the students uncomfortable when learning too many laws].
However grasping Vol 1and 2 enables the students to get 6 to 7 correct answers out of 10.
KAT vol 3 and 4 increases the percentage to remarkable extent.

Re: 12th from Own House
Thank you for your clarification related to both houses, and to how a samdharmi can sometimes still help the lord of D in some cases.
I have purchased Volume 3 and am looking forward to Volume 4, though I also still intend to continue to study and thoroughly digest Volumes 1 and 2 in order to understand the more detailed aspects of the laws involved (despite being continually impressed by the elegance of the essential method of timing).

Re: 12th from Own House
My advice: MASTER THE BASIC LAWS GIVEN IN KAT-1
KAT Volume 1: contains basic Theory and 55 case study charts.
KAT Volume 2: Explains how the planets develop friendship and enmity with each other, but basically continues as Kat Vol-1 with 60 case study cases.
KAT Volume 3: From here I take up more advance laws, and educate the student when the 6th house is owned by Sun or Moon, This volume has 65 case study charts.
Kat Volume 4: This continues as Kat Vol-3 explaining more charts where students are likely to make a mistake [educating students to further improve their prediction percentage]. This Kat-4 Volume discusses Samroop [when 2 planets are in the same house, Nakshatra and Navamsa] and the affect of the 6th lord when placed in the 12th house.... more will be added to it, and hopefully this Kat Vol-4 will be on Amazon before June this year.
