Hello, enlightened beings,
So as per my understanding, our planetary placements in our chart are due to several past life actions, whatever I did, however I interacted with other people and actions I performed (good/bad), now, let's say I somehow manage to get rid of my karma, due to higher self, connecting with other beings or some sort of energy exchange, I perform outstanding good deeds, so, what happens then? What about the placements that are there on / in my chart, what about the mahadashas or antardashas that I am going through? How would planets then react or affect in that situation? or what exactly happens, do I die, do I leave this physical body because there is no pending karma or lessons that are to be taken care of here? What happens if the bad karma is burned off through tapasya, especially sanchita karma is being taken care of here, does one become master of their destiny good or bad, can they achieve whatever they wish or desire without any blockages from the planets or placements?
Understanding the fundamentals of karma or atleast understanding it on a deeper level.

Re: Understanding the fundamentals of karma or atleast understanding it on a deeper level.
Karma, a key concept in many Eastern philosophies and religions, refers to the principle of cause and effect where a person's actions, intentions, and thoughts influence their future. Fundamentally, karma suggests that positive actions lead to positive outcomes and negative actions lead to negative consequences. Understanding karma on a deeper level involves recognizing the interconnectedness of all actions and their impacts, fostering mindfulness and responsibility in daily life to create a balanced and harmonious existence.

Brihat Parashar Hora Sastra is a seminal work on Hindu astrology. In Chapter 2 it says that the Unborn Lord has many incarnations in the form of the nine planets. These planetary entities give the living beings good or bad experiences as per their karmas.lonewolf wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 3:06 am Hello, enlightened beings,

The moment the corpus of karm whether good or bad is exhausted, what happens? You are released from the cycle of birth and death and rebirth etc. That is called the moksh. You exist in constant presence of the Supreme. Therefore your mind is no longer an independent entity. You are guided by a Super Mind. Many an individual has revived after death and has brought back experience of the After Life. Eben Alexander: A Neurosurgeon's Journey through the Afterlife became a sensational book describing such experiences in the recent past.
Brihat Parashar Hora Sastra refers to propitiating the planets to control the adverse happenings in life. Such practices do have beneficial impact.
