Solar return 2025/26

Good evening everybody, I'm a social media manager who's trying to become a screenwriter. I even moved to the US but didn't like the enviroment there. I'm trying to make this move in Europe, hoping it would be better. I'm approaching the age of 36 which means I'm also thinking about private life and relationships a lot more. I'd like to know, if possible, what next year will then bring me on career/money, love and friendships residence and health. Meaning also, if there is a chance of an important love relationship and wheater I'm going to move.



Considering what happens in 2026, can next year be the start of a process that will end the following year?


At the same time, in order to avoid asking people, I was wondering if you could suggest me a source or a book that I could use as a way to learn about astrology myself.

PS: What would you say, are transits more important than solar returns or they tend to tell the same story? In this case, what should I expect? thanks again

Re your question as to whether transits are more important than Solar Returns, I would say that transits (especially of planets from Jupiter outwards - Saturn/Uranus/Neptune/Pluto) give the most important indications which SR's help to define further. I'm also using your Progressed Chart(s) to add to this.

Hi Itndas,

You surely do have the capacity to become a screenwriter with your Pisces Midheaven (10th House/Career), along with the North Node (Path in Life), and with many other indications of such.

Your SR for this current year (2024/25) has been and is about going more deeply into yourself, and your thoughts and communications may have been intense and difficult at times. Perhaps too you have been finding yourself arguing with others more while you're trying to figure out what "Life" is all about.

Relationships may come and go quite rapidly (which is perhaps quite usual for you) but, there may be one that turns into a more lasting relationship by your birthday next year.

All of this mental unrest is contributing to your desire to move but, for now, it's more important to work on yourself. Perhaps it is that where you are now is forcing you to do this, simply because you aren't enjoying it there, and so in fact, being there is a part of this whole process of your development and change of direction.

One planetary energy that has been contributing to your current state is that of Saturn which has been retrograde in Pisces in your Career area and creating a "go slow" influence. In mid-Nov. this turns Direct and within a sextile (opportunity) aspect to your Natal Saturn/Neptune conjunction. This suggests that it's ending off a difficult period to do with career and also with your relationships with others. However, this does not mean that it all just "ends" suddenly, but rather that the beginnings of a realisation of what this long period (since at least Feb. this year, and perhaps since Apr. 2023) of feeling like you're getting nowhere, has been all about.

Re moving, there is the possibility - even the likelihood - of this next year where your 2025 Solar Return indicates this. However, you will need to be careful about the way you do this. i.e. re any contracts you may have made where you are now, especially in your profession - or perhaps even with regard to your current home. Do all you can to avoid losing your temper, especially with regard to those areas.

Re 2026, all the energies in your Solar Return are primarily focused on career, travel, friendships and finances.
I won't go further with this as, always, how such longer term influences pan out and affect you are very much relevant to the way in which you deal with now at each moment.

By the way, there are some very strong influences describing your interest in such as astrology, and studying these areas will be of great benefit to your understanding of yourself and your circumstances, especially at this time (and of course, in the future).
