What is more important

Post by aadiit »

In vedic astrology what is more important:
1> Natal chart
2> Dashas
3> Transits
4> Yogas
5> Ashtakvarga
Or something else. Can you arrange the above list in the order of importance.

I think people born on a certain date will have pretty much same natal chart. The ascendant sign will change (every 2 housrs), placing the planets into different houses but the planets would still be in the same signs. For example Saturn is in aquarius right now and Jupiter in Taurus and Rahu in Pieces. All this will not change for many months. The fast moving planets would change.

This makes me believe that pretty much everyone has same planet-sign combo if born on same day. 8% (1/12) of the population will also have same ascendant and hence same natal chart.

Now based on moon position, there will be 27 starting point for dasha. Which means 4% (1/27) of the population would also be going through same dasha path. People born on a given day will always have same dasha path because moon is transiting through a certain Nakshatra at that point. The Nakshatra decides your first Mahadasha.

Everyone is going through same transit. For example Sun just moved into Cancer sign. Now the difference could be that Sun is transiting over different natal planet based on your specific natal chart. Sun could be transiting a different house based on your specific ascendant sign. For example, for me Sun is right now in my first house and transiting over my Natal Sun and Mars.

With all these similar things, I tend to believe a large population will have same natal chart, same dashas and same transits. Are they all having same fate ? The best example of this is birth of twins. Next best example of kids born in same hospital on same day or hour.

It is good to think n work for answers.
I will try n answer one or two.

1. The conception time of twins is different and so is their fate.
2. Two children taking birth in the same hospital and at the same time ... this is hypothetical if it so happens then their fate will resemble.
3. A few minute difference in time changes their Navamsa chart which holds equal importance as Natal chart.
4. The system I follow does not give good predictions for premature/C-section born and twins.

Very few people have their exact time of birth which is the main reason for failed predictions.

I was working on Rajiv Gandhi [PM of India] chart, there are two times of birth 6:34 and 9:54 am.
I found both to be incorrect then what can an Astrologer do or help.

The second chart I was looking up was of Mr Donald Trumph. His birth details are correct.

What I am saying is many people have same natal chart and dasha path but end up with different fate. What you are saying is even few minutes of difference in birth time will give a different fate. So having accurate birth time to the minute/second becomes necessity. Most of us dont know our accurate birth time.

So if I give you a birth time about 10-20 minutes accurate, is that even helpful ? It will most likely give you the same natal chart and dasha path. It may give you a different navmasha chart.

You have omitted the Bhava and Navamsa chart considerations.

Aadiit;

My advise to you is follow any one system and master it. Whichever you choose will give you satisfactory answer.

I do Ashtakvarga for timing marriage:

In this case Navamsa chart is equally important.
Saturn placed in the 5th house in the navamsa chart gives a DELAY of about 27 yrs and 6 months minus the number of months equal to the degree placement of Saturn.
Now a slight change in time may show that Saturn is not in the 5th house... then the entire life of this person is different. If he gets married within this DELAY period then this marriage is bound to be unhappy. Entirely different from an individual who may be having Saturn in the 4th or 6th house.
