I have this position in my natal chart and saw astrologers on Youtube giving a quite polarized interpretation of it. While some called it a great placement, others call it a great placement. For ex, one said its aspect on 6th house will destroy your enemies while other said that it will increase your enemies and you will not be able to fight them. I know different astrologers have different interpretations but here they are presenting completely polar views. Just for reference, I have Retro Jupiter in 12th house and everyone broadly agrees that it is a bad position.
I want to know about effect of Saturn's position and its aspect on other 3 houses.

Re: Retrograde Saturn in 12th house for Gemini ascendant
Hi GemScorp, I've attached your chart using the Western astrology system. The comments you stated from the online astrologers appear to be rubbish and out of context with the chart. But let's see what I can find for you that might be a bit more positive.
Both Jupiter and Saturn are conjunct in your 12th house and both in Gemini. What that tells me is that you sometimes struggle to get things done. You have grand plans but there is always something that drops down on you like a wet blanket or mist that makes it hard for you to see your way through to completion.
Yes, they are retrograde, but that isn't going to do much to interfere with their role in your psyche. What I see in retrograde planets is a brief resting state that suggests that the house they reside in experiences a slight limit in their expression. I can say more on this later if you want but it is not doom and gloom as stated by your astrologers in their readings.
These two planets do not go well together either. Jupiter is like the accelerator of your car, always wanting to go faster and faster. Saturn on the other hand is the opposite, it is like the hand brake always wanting you to slow down and stop. Saturn yells at you to be careful, he cries out, "what about the consequences?" Thus ensues periods of freeze, nothing seems to move where you want it to.
This at first sight looks like bad news, but it isn't all bad at all. What it does is teach you caution, to make solid, well-thought-out plans. To set clear and achievable short-term, mid-term and long-term goals. They want you to structure your future properly.
While this is going on you have Jupiter opposing Moon, Chiron and Pluto in the 6th house. He is also part of a Grand Trine with Sun, Uranus and Neptune. He is also part of a T-Square pattern with Pluto/Chiron and Mars. As you will see, your chart has so much more information than just the 12th house planets.
Saturn is square Mars and trine Neptune which can be seen as both frustration at times, but also stimulating your interest in the occult like astrology and astral travel.
This is but part of the story your chart tells, we can look deeper if you want.
OK, I'll take a brake and let you have a read and let me know your thoughts. Feel free to ask questions to give me a it of an idea of what direction you would like to go next.

I am not familiar with western astrology and have just begun with Vedic astrology so your reply is quite new and interesting to me. First of all, thankyou for elaborate reply. I completely agree with my plans and progress just breaking because of something. Everything is going fine and then something happens that completely shatters me.
I will be grateful if you can answer my questions from western astrology perspective.

- What is moon bringing on table in this chart with its position and interaction with other planets?
- Are there any big life shattering crisis awaiting me in this life? Overall if the horoscope presents someone who needs to go through exceptional hardships?

Re: Retrograde Saturn in 12th house for Gemini ascendant
I'm glad I was accurate with your Saturn/Jupiter placements. It is pretty important for you to know that the stops and starts in your life come from deep within your psyche. The way to manage this is to visit the two astrology archetypes in deep meditation to negotiate a peace between them so you can live your life with less disruption.
Moon - she is in Sagittarius which shows your happy, fun loving and exciting personality. Your Moon is also in the 6th house with Chiron and Pluto and they oppose Jupiter in the 12th. That opposition is one that is annoying and what it can sometimes do is trigger your Moon to freak out when things go wrong. You also have a serious fascination in what is beyond existence. You want to know the answer to such questions as: 'do we have a life after we die?'.
The conjunction with Chiron and Pluto shows that your early life was difficult, possibly an ongoing illness or parental issues in infancy up to around 6 years of age. Thus health and healing are critical facets of your life today. Emotionally this can make you crash and burn when things don't go right. You punish and blame yourself and then drop into a state of depression particularly when your love life is under stress. These experiences are deeply painful and an area that you can work on to improve your life.
Moon, Chiron and Pluto opposite Jupiter and all are square Mars. This is called a T-Square and as such shows that Mars (the focal planet in the pattern) becomes responsible for managing your material, spiritual, and emotional security. It is also responsible for keeping your emotional states under control. Once again we see that your health is critical to your well being as well as feeling safe in this world. On this note I will add that you need to watch your diet as the 6th house is the house of healthy habits and a poor, western diet of junk food does not suit your needs at all. Stick to traditional foods like dahl, rice and vegetables, your body will like you more.
"Are there any big life shattering crisis awaiting me in this life? Overall if the horoscope presents someone who needs to go through exceptional hardships?"
Your first 6 years were very difficult health-wise. In fact I'd say that this was your major crisis in this lifetime. From those early years of pain you formed beliefs, values and attitudes that continue to impact you today. So in many ways your big event has already happened and it is now up to you to learn the lessons it presented and to form new and more appropriate beliefs, values and attitudes to suit where you are at today.
Will there be other crisis in the future? Of course there will be, hardship and challenge are part of living. We continue to face crisis through life because the horoscope is a circle. The planets don't stop moving thus they continually form new patterns and crisis as they move around the circle. Although I doubt the future holds worse challenges than what you faced in infancy there will be some that come close. How you deal with these rests on the effort you put into your healing. I see you as a mystic seeking to find his path using the qualities you have gained in life as you manage life's many challenges.
The next major transit is Neptune opposing your Sun in around 3-4 years. This transit will bring significant changes as it acts like a flood that rushes under your house eroding its foundations. Your career and direction in life will change once the transit has finished which is exciting. The downside is that Neptune can sometimes make us sick, like a mystery illness with some respiratory problems. It can also make you feel quite depressed because things have stopped and nothing seems to be happening the way you want it to.
The upside is that those habits and behaviours that hold you back will erode and float away as Neptune's waters wash them away. You will need to adapt and change your life to accommodate Neptune's demands. But, Neptune only wants the best for you so it is a case of not fighting the challenges that arise but flowing with them. You are very stubborn, cautious and protective especially in relation to letting people get close to you. You want a close partner but it is frightening to open your heart to people as this makes you feel vulnerable. Neptune's transit will help you resolve this but you need to make a big effort to allow this to happen. The effort requires you to learn to meditate, to go deep into your psyche and to then let go of consciousness which will allow your deeper psyche do its job.

Re: Retrograde Saturn in 12th house for Gemini ascendant
I asked about crisis because acc to Vedic aatrology best time of my life will end in 2028-29 so I am curious about what bad stuff awaits me. Thankyou for putting new perspectives.
While struggle is part of life some crisis can leave you incapable of even moving forward.
Thankyou again

I agree, some crisis can leave us in a bad way. It is my belief that we can use the knowledge that astrology provides us to prepare for those times. Use the strengths you have to improve your life and don't let negative words push you down.
