I was working before marriage and once I got married and had kids, took a break to take care of them by being a stay at home mom. Slowly they are starting school as well and I am eager to pursue my career goals as well as take care of family. But my husband is not showing any support and said he prefers me to stay and home and take care of all. I am really hurt because no discussions had been fruitful in this matter. I would like to know if I can pursue my dreams and will it shatter my marriage or will my husband be understanding with time? Dob details as follows: myself - 1 oct 1984, 11.10 am, Coimbatore India. Then again lift the bag load again into air and
repeat meditation or chanting mantra.
You repeat the above method 3 or 4times in the morning
and also evening.In ancient times ,sages used to carry a
stone.But that is dangerous.Stone may fall on your head.
5c-Third method =In this method,closing eyes is not necessary.
Practising this pose is itself sufficient.It is half inverted pose.
You practise Down dog pose (or adho mukha svanasana)..search in internet. you will get it.
In the Down dog pose,you can make it more effective,by lifting one leg into air,
So,one hand and two feet will be on the ground.You lift one leg into air and stay
like that for one minute.Then you bring down that leg,now lift second leg into air,

I have been working before for more than 8+ years and been successful in my career. I happily took a break after having kids so I can take care of them, I stay far from parents and relatives and did all of this without much help from parents. (I moved to US). Now they are at an age to go to school and I want to also get back to my career. It was always my interest to go to work or start a business kids start school. I have never seen myself as being happy if money is there. This is more about balance, and being my best. I hope Its not wrong for a woman to work after marriage and kids if she can? My parents have set a wonderful example as well. And for both my daughters - I want to an example too, to not just rely on what your partners can bring. I don’t understand why you ask, but honestly I believe nothing wrong in trying.
But the sad part is when husband said he prefers me staying at home, I felt he never really understood my desires. Everyone’s brought it up he just ignores. But he is so supportive of his sister considering a new job and even respects other women who have both job and kids! When I asked him he just said sorry I can’t support or be there to give extra attention for kids.eg: should he drop kids to school in case of me having work, he won’t do it. Should my work interfere negatively I will surely give importance to familiy - he knows that. But should I not even try and see?
And is it wrong to also be financially independent and be there as a supportive source for My husband if time needs me to be?

Just to add - money alone cant help family stay afloat. I feel I am getting very angry by just simply being at home all time. I do all household chores with minimal help from husband. It’s fine and it won’t change after job.. but I need my sanity.. to know I am worth outside apart as a mom too. I still don’t understand why no one get a that part. I am sorry if me expecting that looks rude. Even before marriage parents provided everything, they never stopped me from pursuing my dreams. They educated Me with all their ability..

I had also discussed before marriage that I would like by o work and also send some money for my parents Occasionally. They don’t have anyone else to take care and this was a request based on which we can continue marriage. I had told him I did not expect him to provide for them. So he knew it.
My parents are supported by my sister and thankfully her husband is ok with she working.

Thankyou so much for the response. I am actually confused if I should work or do business which will help me stay at home or have flexible work hours. I can’t blame husband fully because I have really spoilt my family too with my presence and attention to everything. I in fact love it even if no one helps (or I can agree that I have that need to do it all except during rare periods of tiredness).
But I do know I am depressed and I am trying to understand why. The job part is something I have held on and ever since husband said no I am angry because I always tell him to follow his dreams and no matter what his family will support. He knows this but also he is sensible to take right choices.
