Understanding my chart

Post by ml62274 »

Hello all,

I am a Capricorn with a Taurus moon. Sounds pretty practical right? Well I haven't been able to hold down a job for more than 6 months. All I want to do is travel and get super antsy when I stay in one place for too long. I'm also a little wacky/offbeat. I'm nearing my 30's and still feel like a free spirit and can't accept responsibility. I'm just wondering what could be causing this in my birth chart. I've been listed as the "rebel" of my family. Ill post my birth chart.

Natal Chart Report

What follows is your personal natal chart information, as well as interpretations of the positions and aspects in your chart.

With this report, you will find out the positions of the planets in your natal chart by sign. The most personal of these are the Sun sign, Moon sign, Mercury sign, Venus sign, and Mars sign. Most people already know their Sun sign. If your time of birth is known, you will also find out your Ascendant, or rising sign, as well as the positions of the planets in the houses of your chart. Aspects between the planets are also listed and interpreted.

If the birth time is unknown, we cannot know the Ascendant or house positions. The natal chart shown here is an Aries chart in that case. Additionally, you may not know the Moon sign for certain. This is because the Moon changes signs approximately every 2-1/2 days, making it quite possible that someone is born on a day in which the Moon sign changes. Less probable but still possible is a change of signs for the other planets and luminaries, depending on the planet itself (example the Sun changes signs every 30 days or so). For an unknown time, on some birth dates the Moon may be in one of two possible signs. The possible range for Moon signs can be determined by noting the sign at 00:01 and also at 23:59.

Each paragraph of interpretation refers to an individual position in your chart. All of these positions and aspects are some of the "parts" that make up a "whole"--you! Some of these interpretations will be contradictory, just as people are contradictory. A person can be downright timid in love, and that same person can be aggressive in business. Not only that, we evolve and grow throughout our lives, facing challenges that help us to handle our positions and aspects in a different way. We all have choices, and one of the largest benefits of astrology is the ability to understand ourselves better so that we can work with our natal charts rather than against them. Any computerized report that interprets the individual placements in a natal chart is somewhat disjointed, simply because the different parts that make up the whole are not synthesized.

Some of the interpretations that follow are detailed, while others are brief. You can do some further reading about different positions (such as Moon in Libra, Saturn in the 10th house, Moon conjunct Mercury) in your chart by exploring our own site, other astrology sites, and by reading astrology books.

The tables here show the technical details of your natal chart, personalized based on your birth data. Below the tables, you'll find your free birth chart report.

Planet Positions, Ascendant, & Houses

The following table shows the position of the planets in your chart, by sign and degree. You will also find the sign of your Ascendant and the signs on the cusp of each house in your natal chart only if the birth time is known. The Roman Numerals refer to the houses, where the Ascendant is also the first house and the Midheaven is also the tenth house. For example, if the sign Taurus is next to Mars, you know your Mars is in Taurus. If the sign Libra is next to Venus, you know your Venus is in Libra. If Cancer is next to Ascendant, you have a Cancer Ascendant, and if Leo is next to II, Leo is on your 2nd house.

Birth Chart

The Sun represents vitality, a sense of individuality and outward-shining creative energy.

Sun in Capricorn

Capricorn is a feet-on-the-ground, eye-on-the-prize sign. Those with Sun in Capricorn have a realistic, grounded approach to life that can be seen no matter how dreamy the rest of the birth chart suggests. These people know how to do things, and to get things done. Some Capricorns naturally turn their backs on things they deem too frivolous. They are very much concerned with things that are worthwhile--and that includes their own lives. Capricorns want to do and be something worthwhile. Like their Earth signs relatives, Taurus and Virgo, they need to feel useful and effective in the real world in order to be satisfied with their lives. But the Capricorn spin on the earth signs is that Capricorn possesses a stronger need for recognition in a worldly sense. They have a strong sense of society and its framework, and they feel most secure when they feel they are doing their part within that framework.

Capricorns like to pare things down, and take pleasure in the simple things in life. However, many are attracted to status symbols and these ones will wear the best clothes (tasteful ones!) and drive quietly impressive cars. Comparing Capricorns to their symbol, the goat, brings up some interesting analogies. Solar Capricorns can see into the future, and plan for it. They don't mind taking things slowly, but they absolutely aim to get to the top of the mountain in life! They make their way steadily and sure-footedly; and their strength and singleness of purpose are admirable.

Capricorns can sometimes be rather lonely people, although they rarely let it show. They are often a little reserved--even standoffish. This is generally because they value all things practical, and they'll seldom wear their emotions on their sleeves, unless they have a particularly flamboyant Moon sign. This is a sign that is surely the most resourceful of the zodiac. To some, Capricorns come across as unimaginative, but they can be enormously creative when it comes to the material world. They are generally very capable people with a strong sense of tradition and responsibility.

Many Capricorns have mastered the art of making people laugh. Their sense of humor can be of the deadpan variety--they're generally excellent at keeping a straight face. They can be bitingly sarcastic, too. Capricorns are not known for taking too many risks in life. They value the beaten track and things "tried and true". This is not to say they are stick-in-the-muds -- they simply value the hard work laid down by those who've been around before them. Turn to your Capricorn friends for help when you need to really get things done. They'll have practical advice, and they'll help you organize and manage your life a little better. Capricorns are generally good with their "word", dependable, and rather loyal people.

Short description:

She is honest, reserved, circumspect, honorable and strong-willed. Quietly ambitious within the realms of the possible, she likes and takes on responsibility. She can work in the social domain.

Weaknesses: a sometimes bitter and mistrustful mind.

Capricorn ascendant Gemini

Sun in VII

You take pride in your ability to negotiate, and to establish harmony in your relationships. It is important to you to have a partner, as you feel incomplete without one. You are motivated to become well-liked, and you are especially sensitive to rejection. One of the lessons in your life may be to avoid putting harmony and others' opinions of you above your own needs. Use your social skills and seek out peaceful relations with others, but try not to over-identify with your partnerships and the way you are received by others. You may marry someone with a strong personality.

88 Conjunction Sun - Mercury

Because your ego and your mind are aligned, you possess much mental energy. You are always in a position to think about what you want, and in many ways, this is an interruption of the will. You are highly intelligent with a great drive to communicate with other. You invest a lot of pride in your intellectual capacities. You may not always listen as well as you speak, however! You might be too busy thinking about what to say next. But you are very curious and although you enjoy expressing yourself, you usually don't dominate conversations completely. As far as studying or learning goes, you are better off reading the material than listening to a teacher. These traits come from a strong need to take an active role in communications. It is very hard for you to passively listen and absorb information.

Your opinions are usually strong and you are an independent thinker. You tend to be proud of your opinions and thoughts, and might easily get a bruised ego if you are not "heard", if your opinions are pushed aside or ignored, or if your opinions are criticized. You are expressive and possibly a very animated speaker. You are also very witty and others enjoy your playful and sometimes mischievous sense of humor.

332 Conjunction Sun - Uranus

It is natural for you to question tradition. You are, above all things, an individualist. You naturally rebel against that which is established. It doesn't mean that you consistently break all the rules, but you definitely do question some of the rules, especially those that simply don't make much sense. You possess a huge distaste for routine. You work best when you have some say as to when and how you get things done. You possess much self-integrity. You avoid labeling people and are most offended when others attempt to label or stereotype you.

You easily embrace new ways of doing things, you stick up for the underdog, and you express yourself in unique and inspiring ways. You don't have to try to stand out as unique--you are original, creative, and progressive without trying. You are far from pretentious. You value honesty and truth, and you avoid putting on airs. You believe in the equality of people, and easily relate to people from all walks of life. You possess an unmistakable enthusiasm about life, and generally your life is interesting because you invite unusual or adventurous experiences into your life. You are generally appreciated by others because you are open-minded, fair, and not judgmental. Nothing really seems to faze you! You take things in stride, and are rarely shocked or taken aback by human behavior.

91 Conjunction Sun - Neptune

There is an unmistakably dreamy, inspired, and sensitive side to you. A marked appreciation for music and the arts is present. The connection of Neptune with the Sun, which represents the ego and the will, certainly softens some of the hard edges that might be found elsewhere in the chart, adding a sensitive and spiritual dimension to your personality. You are naturally compassionate. It is so completely natural for you to accept that there is more to the world than what is before your eyes, that you tend to presume everyone must be spiritually-inclined. Of course, you come to realize that this is not the case at some early point in your life. Your attraction to spirituality and metaphysical subjects is usually marked. These aspects favor writers, artists, and musicians. You are sensitive to those who are suffering, although you are not usually taken advantage of. You are humanitarian and may have a special connection with animals. If other aspects and positions in the chart support it, you are not one to dominate others or assert yourself to the point of brashness. You have a fertile imagination, are full of inspiration, and very emotional - all qualities that you may use on the professional level.

0 Opposition Sun - Ascendant

She can face conflicts in life due to a projection of character that doesn't match what is on the inside. Misrepresentation of the self is frequent. She must strive to understand how others perceive her and work on presenting a more accurate persona to the world, or she will rub people the wrong way or feel unrecognized and misunderstood.

The Moon represents the emotional responses, unconscious pre-destination, and the self-image.

Moon in Taurus

Familiarity is important to Lunar Taureans. These people are earthy and strong-willed. They feel with their senses and they are pretty much rooted in their ways. They revel in material comforts--in fact, building a solid and comfortable home and foundation helps to keep them feeling safe and content.

It isn't wise to try to push Lunar Taureans into doing anything, but once they have made a commitment, they're persevering. There's a steadiness to this position of the Moon that is comforting to those close to them. But the conservative streak in these natives can be maddening to more progressive personalities. They tend to go out of their way to avoid "messy" or unpredictable situations, crises, and emotional displays. Instead, they focus on creating a reliable and secure life around them. In relationships, Lunar Taureans may not easily recognize their partner's need for change, growth, or emotional stimulation.

Moon in Taurus natives are generally very romantic. Their affections are strong, deep, and unwavering. They are sentimental and warm. Since Taurus is a practical earth sign, the placement of the Moon in this sign suggests an ability to protect themselves and their own interests. They will rarely make a move without first determining that it is safe and that there's something in it for them. Generally, Taurus Moon people have reliable instincts. They are very much tied to the physical world, and they often have a particularly well-developed sense of smell. Relationships with people born with this position of Mars are often quite enduring. Many Mars in Taurus people hang onto their mates, even in the face of serious conflict. Taurus is a fixed sign, so break-ups don't happen easily.

There is a serenity to them that is calming. In fact, it takes a lot to really get to them. However, they do get off-center every once in a while. They are not the most adaptable people when their own routine is interrupted, for example. Though some Lunar Taureans might be considered anal, most simply have a stubborn streak that keeps them rather resistant to change. Rarely are they spontaneous sorts. Uncomfortable with surprises, these natives value stability. Their needs are strong but quite simple at the same time--they love the "good things" in life. The world of the five senses is all-important to these natives. Their love of stability and steadiness can make them slaves to routine. However, they are loyal and capable people.

Short description:

Sweetness itself. Convinced of their ideas and strong-willed. She is foresighted and willful. She knows how to trust. She appreciates all the good things in life. She appreciates and protects Nature.

Weaknesses: excesses in pleasure, laziness, sensuality, thoughtlessness.

Moon in XI

Lots of friends, relationships. She makes friends easily and uses her relationships to further professional success. Feelings of friendship are sometimes superficial. Often, lots of children.

This position of the Moon indicates an emotional need for a feeling of belonging with, and support from, friends and associations with groups. You look to acquaintances for support, and offer the same in return. A changeable or unstable social life might be a reflection of inner emotional unrest. Waxing and waning feelings for others can cause problems in your relationships. You are a person who is filled with many dreams, wishes, and hopes for your future, and most of these are altruistic and good-hearted desires. However, you might change your aspirations frequently, with your changing moods, and have a hard time settling on goals to work towards as a result.

-161 Square Moon - Jupiter

She is sometimes indifferent to others, to those who surround her: she is, without thinking, negligent and indecisive. She may "feed" inner restlessness with excesses in gambling, shopping, or other comforts, and her honesty is sometimes a bit elastic. This aspect does not help professional success, especially as she tends to spend more than she earns. Sometimes enthusiastic and gung-ho, and other times indifferent, it can be challenging for others to understand her. Needs to find constructive avenues for her inner restlessness.

95 Trine Moon - Uranus

She is imaginative and has the Moon's intuition complemented by Uranus' independence and originality. Her life is out-of-the-ordinary, with lots of changes and a great knowledge of the world not through reading but through personal experience. She likes the sensational, new things. She acts instinctively, but fortunately has a good sixth sense. She likes to be surrounded by original people, artists.

71 Trine Moon - Neptune

Positive aspect: She is kind and sympathetic, with a strongly compassionate nature. When in love, she is usually very devoted. In fact, she is devoted by nature, not only in matters of the heart.

There is an unmistakably compassionate and understanding side to her nature. She has a natural affinity to music. While everyone enjoys music, people with Moon in harmonious aspect to Neptune respond to music as a vehicle to heal, relax, and to uplift the soul. Naturally perceptive, without even trying she tunes into the feelings of others, and the mood of her surroundings. There is a distinct emotional need to escape into the world of imagination, and to withdraw from others at times when she needs to re-center herself, largely because she tends to "take in" a lot of mixed energies from her surroundings. Strong and sudden "feelings" and hunches can overcome her. More often than not, her intuition is correct, although her imagination is also powerful and she can read too much into a situation as a result. Some laziness is associated with this position. This stems from a natural timidity and sensitivity that is apparent from youth. She may have been labeled "shy" in youth, and family members or friends may have jumped in to "save" her from situations that required boldness or aggressiveness. Thus, passivity was accepted and, as adults, she may be less experienced than most when it comes to reaching out or going after what she wants.

-76 Opposition Moon - Pluto

She has intense emotions and passionate feelings. She fears the loss of control of emotional and domestic matters, and fears change. At the same time, she attracts change and disruptions. The love life or marital life may be riddled with emotional scenes, jealousy, and possessiveness because she attracts intense partners.

Mercury represents communication, Cartesian and logical spirit.

Mercury in Sagittarius

Enthusiastic, humorous, and sometimes moralistic. She has strong opinions, and often shares them! Democrat, philosopher, tolerant, respectful of laws. Interested in foreign places and learning more languages. Believes that everything teaches you something.

Mercury in VII

Hates being alone. She has lots of friends, likes to discuss and similarly has a lot of work friends. Likes to write.

You have a great love of debate, if only to get closer to your own thoughts and opinions. Bouncing ideas off others helps you to make a decision, although coming to definite conclusions can be painfully difficult for you. You see the other side of the coin. You might often play devil's advocate. Communication with a partner is craved, and you also love an audience for your own thoughts and opinions, but preferably a one-person audience, as you come alive verbally when it's one-on-one. You can be quite skilled at keeping a partnership animated and alive with interesting tidbits, new ideas, and stimulating conversation. You can easily become bored in partnership if the lines of communication go down, even temporarily. You might also love to talk about and analyze relationships and marriage.

-93 Opposition Mercury - Ascendant

She may criticize and gossip, arguing frequently and ofen nervous. Without even realizing it, she might look for or instigate a verbal battle, and is provoking.

Communication is very important to you, and your mind is sharper and more creative when you have a partner you can bounce your thoughts and ideas off of. You are an excellent conversationalist and can fascinate your partners with your sharp mind. You love to debate issues just for the mental exercise, even if you don't feel strongly about the position you argue! You play devil's advocate often, and your ideal partner understands that your debates are, in fact, mental exercises--certainly not attacks! You are also prone to exaggerate or stretch the truth when trying to make your point, especially when it comes to your own background or experience.

In your close relationships, your partner serves as a mirror, reflecting your thoughts and ideas back to you from a different perspective. You are rather independent and will not allow anyone to restrict your freedom, but you love to talk things out before arriving at a decision. Truth is, you won't always take others' advice! However, you do enjoy looking at problems from all sorts of different perspectives. You may choose partners who are considerably younger than you, or who are not as academically smart as you. Conversations with you are always stimulating and lively. The ability to share your thoughts with a partner is vital to your sense of fulfillment in a close personal relationship.

\r\nVenus represents an interest for emotions and values, exchange and sharing with others.

Venus in Capricorn

Venus in Capricorn people will try to win your heart by displaying self-control, presence of mind, and responsible behavior. These lovers want you to know they are goal-oriented, witty, savvy, and controlled. Nobody can get the best of them. They want you to see just how competent they are. They like some measure of predictability in their relationships as they are cautious in love.

Venus in Capricorn people project an aura of competency and their loner-like behavior can be attractive, in a cool way. They don't go gaa-gaa over love, or at least they don't express as much. Their lovers may complain that Venus in Capricorns are a little too practical and deliberate. Certainly, they can come across as lacking in warmth and spontaneity. Truth is, they can be rather romantic souls who yearn for a partner to share their lives with. Others' image of their relationship matters to them. They are conservative and willing to commit. Venus in Capricorn people are attracted to serious, goal-oriented lovers. They are a little shy in matters of the heart, but they don't want you to know it. If you like knowing where your relationship is headed, you'll be mighty pleased with Venus in Capricorn. These people plan ahead in love, and, unlike Venus in Pisces, they will let you know exactly where they (and the relationship) are headed. Pleasing Venus in Capricorn involves showing them you are practical and realistic. They want to impress you with the things they do. Appreciate their "saving for a rainy day" attitude, and be aware that they want to show you off in a quiet way.

Venus in VIII

Not frightened by the unknown, death. Sometimes this position means she has a peaceful and happy or natural end of life. Possible inheritance.

Intensity is what you seek in your love relationships, so that casual encounters are not necessarily your game. You are easily bored with mechanical interactions between partners, and might prefer drama in your relationships to anything mundane or superficial. However, you also fear being vulnerable in love, and, in youth, you may control your emotions in love. Fears of being betrayed may be at the heart of your somewhat jealous and possessive nature in love. When you give yourself over to love, you love wholeheartedly and expect all-consuming, total devotion and attention in return. You find passion a healing force in your life. Your charm runs deep--just below the surface. You are attracted to all that is taboo, hidden, forbidden, and find beauty in the broken, disenchanted, obsessed, and passionate. In some cases, people with this position might make a business out of love, romance, and eroticism. There is an intensity about you that others pick up readily. Either they run or they are completely intrigued!

289 Conjunction Venus - Saturn

She has a good grasp of reality and of duty. She is thrifty, reserved and does not show off. She likes truth and justice. In love, her sentiments are sincere and deep, she never plays false. She is, of course, faithful in love and friendship. She can love a much older person and appreciates her intelligence and good sense.

159 Conjunction Venus - Neptune

Her professional life is unstable. She has a taste for the Arts, is a dreamer, is easily influenced and romantic. She is emotional and very sensitive.

Romantic, creative, gentle, and adaptable, you naturally express the finer qualities of mysterious and dreamy Neptune in your love relationships. Your imagination is rich and your fantasy world well-developed. You are turned off by rudeness and crudeness, and are drawn to beauty in its many forms. You are very giving and generous, but may be a little on the submissive side, or sometimes downright lazy, failing to take the initiative when situations call for it.

237 Sextile Venus - Pluto

Her emotional and sex life is powerful and rich. She lives out truly passionate love affairs.

Mars represents the desire for action and physical energy.

Mars in Taurus

"Slow and steady wins the race" could easily be a motto for Mars in Taurus. These goal-oriented people are not known for their speed, but their staying power is tremendous. Generally calm and easygoing people, Mars in Taurus natives can have powerful tempers when they're overly provoked. They generally don't fly off the handle as quickly as others, however (unless Aries is prominent in their chart). Mars in Taurus people value strength and stability. They are driven by security and an especial fondness for personal possessions. Most are not afraid to work for what they want, and there is an overall patience to this position of Mars. If it takes a few years to achieve their goals, so be it. People born under a Mars in Taurus are often rather sensual people. Some are slow to arousal, but theirs is an earthy and powerful sensuality.

Most have well-defined long-term goals and the determination to achieve them. They usually are not the type of people to take on too many projects at once. If they don't think they can do it, they won't! It is almost impossible to get these people moving once they've made up their minds on a matter. You want them to go shopping with you? Unfortunately for you, about half an hour back, they've kicked up their heels, changed into something comfortable, and they simply won't budge. Immovable is the only way to describe Mars in Taurus people who have made up their minds. Adaptability is not their strong point. In a similar vein, attempting to rush Mars in Taurus people is a lesson in frustration. They won't alter their pace for most anything. If you can get past these "quirks", however, you'll find that Mars in Taurus natives are often quite reliable and strong personalities. It may just be worth the wait!

Mars in XII

All her energy is put into the work life. She loves research. She could be a lab worker, doctor, police officer, teacher specializing in hospital, prison or hospice work..

48 Trine Mars - Saturn

She is energetic and determined. She has strength and resistance, ability and patience: she is tough, and sometimes insensitive, and puts all her energy and talents into overcoming all the obstacles to her success. She is obstinate, calculating, does not take on anything without having thought of all the possible consequences, she can take all the time in the world and never loses patience to achieve her objectives. She is not particularly popular in her circle, but is feared and respected.

-23 Opposition Mars - Pluto

You have a tendency to impose your will upon others, which can cause severe problems for yourself when they react in self-defense. You have a hair-trigger temper and may even resort to verbal or physical abuse when upset. Learning to react to unpleasant circumstances with your intellect rather than your emotions comes with maturity.

It is all too easy for you to find something negative about a situation. Avoid issuing ultimatums when you meet an obstacle. Instead, find a way to convince others to work with you of their own free will. Ordinary life often seems drab and uninteresting to you and you must have something that stirs your imagination, some vision or ideal or dream to motivate you. You have a strong urge to act out your fantasies or to live your dream, and you will DO things that others only talk about or dream about. Artistic creation, drama, or other areas in which you can express yourself imaginatively are excellent for you.

You do not easily tolerate a dominating attitude in others. You have a healthy respect for power and authority, but only if it is handled fairly.

This aspect gives you a somewhat Scorpionic attitude toward your lovers, and it can modify the traits associated with the sign of your Mars considerably. In other words, there is a distinct possessive and demanding streak in your sexual nature. Your approach to love and sex can be quite intense at times. Your sexual desire nature is a very strong one, and you may even use sex as a bargaining chip in your relationships in order to achieve your goals. More likely, however, is a very focused and intense sexual nature. This also adds a very magnetic quality to your appeal. When a woman finds you attractive, it can transform into a near obsession! Your aura is strong and somewhat mysterious. You tend to come across as stronger than you intend. In fact, some people are intimidated by you, and you may not understand why this is so. When you want something (or someone!) you are very determined. For you, it can be "all or nothing". When you are finished with something, you leave it behind you and there is no going back. You want a deep, soulful attachment on a sexual level. In your love life you do not take rejection well. You fear betrayal and abandonment, and this can skew your perception of your lover. You have a highly developed sex drive, but you must learn to rein in your aggressiveness in this area. Power struggles and control issues may surface often in your relationships. You perceive the cruel edge in people, and understand its source. Self-confidence develops out of self-control in your interaction with others.

Jupiter represents expansion and grace.

Jupiter in Leo

She attracts the most good fortune when she expresses magnanimity, is generous with others, inspires confidence in those around her, conducts herself with dignity and sincerity, and avoids the pitfall of excessive egotism. Prosperous areas are creative ones, entertainment, children, and recreation. Takes pride in everything she does. Generosity brings success.

Jupiter in III

She has good judgement, a sense of values, an open and optimistic mind, a good education and high moral standards. She likes studying. She is successful in communications work. Her professional work is a vocation and plays a great part in her life.

-10 Square Jupiter - Pluto

She might be tempted to exploit others.

She is rarely satisfied with her achievements unless they are big. She is an opportunist.

7 Trine Jupiter - Lilith

She meets a partner much wealthier than herself but does not abuse this, as the partner might tire of her. Good sexual understanding.

Saturn represents contraction and effort.

Saturn in Capricorn

She is scrupulous, honest, correct, worthy and respectable.

Weaknesses: melancholy, sullenness, disappointment and bitterness.

Saturn in VIII

This position sometimes points to not being financially very well off, average salary. The spouse is also not rich. Possibility of a small inheritance, which helps a lot. Long life and natural death, if the aspects allow.

11 Sextile Saturn - Pluto

She perseveres, achieves her projects through hard work.

Uranus represents individual liberty, egoistic liberty.

Uranus in Capricorn

A great battler. She has so much power, that one thinks nothing can defeat her. Her mission in society, in the world means everything to her.

Uranus in VII

Her independence does not tolerate traditional marriage very well. If she does marry, she has little chance of finishing her days with the spouse, unless the partner gives her complete freedom.

You need a lot of freedom in your partnerships and do best in unconventional or nontraditional set-ups. You are likely to attract unusual, erratic people into your life, particularly in close relationships.

110 Conjunction Uranus - Neptune

Neptune represents transcendental liberty, non-egoistic liberty.

She is discerning, wise and sensible.

Neptune in VII

Marries for love, to show the depth of her passion, but may have a troubled conjugal life.

7 Sextile Neptune - Pluto

Pluto represents transformations, mutations and elimination.

Pluto in Scorpio

Great sexual activity.

House I is the area of self identity. The ascendant is a symbol of how one acts in life. It is the image of the personality as seen by others, and the attitude that one has towards life.

Capricorn ascendant Gemini

Ascendant in Gemini

Those born with Gemini rising see the world as a place to learn. They are curious about the people around them. Sounds similar to Sagittarius rising? Well it is, but there are some important differences. While Sagittarius seeks to expand their mental and physical horizons in a broad sense, Gemini is mostly interested in moving about in their social circles. These are people who love to ask questions, to move around freely, and to mingle. Definitely restless and often quick in physical expression, natives of the Gemini Ascendant exude an air of impatience even if they don't mean it. In fact, there is a cleverness to Gemini Ascendants that can intimidate some, especially sensitive folk. Their facility with words can be a wonderful asset, although sometimes Gemini rising individuals identify too much with their mental agility and forget, in their personal interactions and communications, to nurture the people around them. A certain lack of warmth in presentation can be the result, and although this style is generally a facade, it is not immediately apparent to most. People with, for example, predominant Water signs may feel a little ill at ease with Gemini rising people (that is, before they get to know them more personally), while strong Air types more fully appreciate the fun and cleverness of these individuals.

I have found two styles of presentation most common with Gemini rising people. One style is bubbly, changeable, talkative, and a little quirky. These natives are interesting and fun. They constantly explain things, whether it's their own behavior and opinion or those of the world around them. Another distinct "style" is a rather cool and intellectual demeanor. These natives are often quite witty and clever, but they present themselves in a less cheerful and changeable way than the first group. Their observations are sharp and the overall manner is a tad brusque. No matter the style, Gemini rising natives are given to analysis and making sense of their world. Their powers of observation are well-developed, they are mentally active (more often than not, their minds are racing!), and they almost always have something bright or witty to say. It is easy for individuals with this position to get sidetracked, as their curiosity is large, their minds are quick, and their attention spans rather short! As children, natives born with a Gemini Ascendant are often labeled as the intellectual, inquisitive, and perhaps odd child. Many feel their upbringing lacked some warmth. In one-to-one relationships, Gemini rising people often seek a certain amount of personal freedom and space. They enjoy intellectual debates and exchanging ideas. Although they often demand a fair amount of freedom, they are often just as willing to give their partners room to breathe.

House II is the area of material security and values. It rules money and personal finances, sense of self-worth and basic values, personal possessions.

House II in Cancer

Cancer is a fruitful sign to have on a money house. She can rely on sound instincts to acquire and save money. Very good money sense, although financial fluctuations may be frequent in her life. She can use her keen ability to hone in on what the public wants and needs, and benefit financially. She may be a hoarder, but certainly assigns much sentimental meaning to personal possessions.

House III is the area of social and intellectual learning.

House III in Leo

Somewhat opinionated in speech. Keenly interested in education, and a good teacher. Proud of siblings and tells countless stories about growing up. She is a very good organizer. Everything is carefully studied, explained and swiftly executed.

House IV is the area of home, family, roots, and deep emotions/sense of self-worth.

House IV in Virgo

Makes a good mother, watching over her children, spending the night in an armchair near a sick child, caring for and calming him/her with patience. Knows how to look after her home perfectly, how to iron out difficulties by her practical sense and thanks to her intelligence.

House V is the area of creative self-expression, romance, entertainment, children, and gambling.

House V in Libra

She is delicate and full of good manners, with a taste for luxury: her friends are the same - refined with very good jobs. Will want to marry (and not just live with the partner).

House VI is the area of learning by material transaction.

House VI in Scorpio

Likes risky professions. Weak point: the genital area.

House VII is the area of one-to-one relationships such as marriage and partnership, and of social and intellectual action.

House VII in Sagittarius

Either marriage with a foreigner, or a marriage abroad, or marriage with a foreigner abroad.

House VIII is the area of emotional security and of security of the soul.

House VIII in Capricorn

Natural death in very old age. Inheritances.

House IX is the area of learning that shapes the identity.

Goes into one of the professions, is innovative and original. Likes travel, communicating with different people. Long research.

House X is the area of material action. The Mid-heaven represents the work one will do in his life, the place one will take in the world of society. It becomes more important as one grows older

m1, as you have discovered a computer generated reading can only give small snapshots, like looking at the sky through a tiny telescope, it can't synthesise the chart as a whole.

What we need you to do is post a clear image of your chart itself then we can have a good look at it, thanks.

thanks, that is a good start. Can you give a bit more information, I can't see anywhere stating if you male or female? What do you do, education and work-wise? Still living at home or independant? Relationships? This all makes a difference in reading a chart. Rather than spending several days looking at a chart trying to figure out what the person is particularly interested in a few simple clues saves an enormous amount of time.

I'll also attach a chart style that I regularly use, it makes it easier on my old eyes.

Thanks! Appreciate it. I am a 30 yr old male. I am living at home trying to find a career. Have a kid on the way so I'm stuck in the USA looking to salvage some kind of life. In otherwords, I studied Psychology and Chemistry at University.... I was an English teacher abroad for many years. But I bounced around from location to location and because a translator/interpretor for a bank (bilingual in Spanish-not Hispanic). I did some private classes and did pretty well where I was living. I got tired of all the teaching though.

I feel more spiritual than practical and I am extroverted not introverted. I am thinking about managing a restaurant as I have lots of restaurant experience and love interacting with new people.... but I still have no idea. I just basically lay around and day dream about being abroad and exploring new places.

I'm going to be getting married since I have a child on the way. I'm not very good at, sad to say, being faithful in relationships. I've never been faithful. I just don't know what's going on and why I can't get myself together at 30. I would say personality wise I'm very spacey/spiritual and hate details. I'm quick to cut people off/terrible listener (unless I were to be working).

I would say one Capricorn/Taurus thing I'm good with is dressing exceptionally well. Otherwise I feel no relation to my Capricorn Sun.

OK, now we're getting somewhere, thanks for the intro, it sure helps put the chart into perspective.

You have a Gemini Ascendant which gives you so much of what you are experiencing: restlessness, the need to socialise and chat with everyone. Your language and interpretive skills come from this as well. I can add that you have Sun conjunct Mercury, Uranus and Neptune all are involved with communication in many different ways.

So yep, you sure are versatile and your description suits your energetic chart. You have a Capricorn stellium that traverses your 7th and 8th house. This gives you a firm foundation in managing a business, people skills and the need to be with people. With Sagittarius sitting on your 7th cusps there is an appetite for partners, some irresponsibility as well. Yet there is some guilt and a need to conform. Caught in a need to do and not to do.

You learn by interacting with others, they are the mirror to yourself.

Your spiritual interests stem from this Capricorn connection with the 8th house, the house of transformation and the occult.

What do you do now? I think you've already settled on what you do best, being and working with people. Go for it.

If you don't mind answering, as you have done enough already, what are my best relationship matches (zodiac sign)? I know it depends upon different variables but if you were to guess at who I would be good at, what signs would you say. I seem to get along with Gemini and Sagittarius really well. But I also get along with Taurus/Libra... pretty much all signs. But relationship wise what would your best guess be? Thanks!!!

ml, hmm, tough one, your best choices are what you feel comfortable with, Gemini and Sag match your own personality, but I see conflict because you will both be out partying and flirting which is rather disruptive for a long term relationship. You have enormous energy in Capricorn which tells me that your destiny is to find that energy within you. An Earthy sense of calm, peace and growth that appears to be the opposite to which you are used to living. Would that be a good match for you now?

I can't really advise you, a relationship is like a minefield, remember that the Sun sign is simply one point in a chart. You really need to match Venus, Moon and 7th house as well as many other factors but how do you do that with every prospective partner? My best advice is to spend time working on your own inner peace and find what your inner world needs. I don't think that marrying someone just because they carry your baby is always a good idea - unless you are prepared to give 100% commitment to them both. To do less is going to end in heartbreak. You need to spend some time soul searching to come up with the best outcome for everyone. A baby needs a father but if marrying the mother is going to bring disruption, heartache and torment into the family home then that isn't in the best interests of the child.

You have a dilemma that many men and women have faced since Adam and Eve were hormonal teenagers, please take the time to form your decision based on the needs of yourself, your child, the mother, plus your own capacity to give. Go slowly, gently and make wise decisions, this is an important moment in your life.

Yes, you are definitely right about the Gemini and Sagittarius relationships. I have been in a few and they have always ended up pretty toxic due to overindulgence in partying.

I need to look deep within and see what it is that I want. I've been trying for awhile to find my inner Capricorn needs so to speak lol. Right now I'm trying to get my act together so I can do what's best.

The girl that I am with is foreign and she and I balance each other out really well, so to speak. She is a Taurus/Cancer moon and really just kind of supports me and grounds me when I go off on one of my ideas of what I want to do. I really believe that she is the right person for me I just need to sit back and control myself and get a career going.
