Hi!
The view of the night sky is contingent on the location on Earth and the time of the year. So someone looking up at the night sky in Argentina, which is located in the lower Southern Hemisphere, in December sees a different view of the night sky than someone looking up at the night sky in Norway, which is located in the upper Northern Hemisphere, in June.
So, how that relates to the view of the night sky seen by someone looking up at the night sky in Babylon (nowadays Iraq), which is located in the Northern Hemisphere, throughout the year? And, what are the implications for Western astrology, which is based on the position of the celestial bodies?
Thanks!

Re: Position of Celestial Bodies
DocT, that is a good question, basically astrology uses time and space to draw up the chart and this is why we need time of birth and place of birth because the chart requires these to determine the Ascendant and therefore the houses. This is fundamental to astrology, without it there is basically no astrology at all.
