Personally, I feel lucky to be able to have to try to concentrate on individuals here - helps to keep me focused. The hard part is, that it's also necessary to take into account the enormity of what's going on in the World at large - which is all so...(unfortunately/fortunately, depending on the way one looks at it) freely available via the Internet. Soooo much going on, and who knows how to differentiate between what is 'true'
and what is not. How could we ever know? (eg. 'Gulf Oil Hoax' http://shtf411.com/bp-illusion-of-a-fal ... 14bb60fbfa ) or, re FBI (http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/879.html ) ...or basically ...anything any politician says. 
Personally, am getting more and more cynical about most things.
However, in the meantime, Philip Sedgwick has (as best as I can see), managed to keep his head above these waters. So, I - again - recommend his site: http://www.philipsedgwick.com for a way to get above all of these shenanigans. (For non-astrologers, you'll need to pull out the pertinent parts.)
