Retrograde Mercury in Capricorn

Mercury turned Retrograde in the 22nd Degree of Capricorn on the 26th of December. And will be retrograde in the other two Earth signs during 2010.

So, what do we experience when Mercury retrogrades through 'earth' signs ?

Obviously in an Earth sign, it's relevant to the 'physical', to 'matter', we here in our bodies and in our particular enviroments.

Inevitably of course, it will depend on which 'house' Mercury is in in the Natal Chart, and also which 'house' Mercury 'rules'...along with which 'house' it is in, and all the various natal aspects etc.etc.etc.

However, there are some basic issues with regard to Capricorn: Capricorn has to do with one's sense, not only of certain family connections, but with that wider sense of 'family' - ie. governments, local Councils, and all 'organisations' per se, and with 'tradition' and 'rules' etc..
So, Mercury r in Capricorn is a good time to 'hunker down', work on practical matters and clear up stuff that is taking up too much space in your life.

'Earth' signs demand that one concentrates on the necessities and practical issues.
