Sorry I did not see this question.
If Mercury is in seventh, it may not necessarily involve cheating of spouse.
However, Mercury is a Karka for clandestine relations ruling Gemini. So, usually we look at Gemini and it's connection to UL / UL Lord etc.
In this case, the eight lord Moon from UL is in Gemini (Mercury and Moon are enemies) and looking at the UL both by Rasi dristi and also planetary sight.
