Re: Quincunxes (Inconjuncts)

Well, I won't try to elaborate any more than has already been done, but I can offer a validation that the Quincux DOES operate. Recently, I had to undergo surgery, as transiting Mars crossed over my natal Saturn, which opposes natal Mars. No big deal, a hernia operation. All was well. Sometime later...

Re: Part of Fortune

I suppose I will post my experience here. I have never had any luck with either the Part of Fortune or the Vertex. It may be I just did charts for the wrong people or missed information, but have never had anything to point to them of any interest whatsoever. until recently I did a Synastry chart fo...

Re: Ascendant 'Return'

Now THERE'S an idea!
I've never thought of that.
I have had quite good luck with Solar Returns, viewing them in a symbolic manner only, describing "the moment", what was on the native's mind, as it were, and it has been very insightful, at times.

I think I shall play with this idea!!!!!

Re: Chiron

OK, I'll weigh in here as well. I have been watching Chiron studiously, as I have great respect for Liz Greene, and she has come to state that Chiron has meaning. So, I have watched it. Problem is........ Chiron was a minor myth of the Greeks, an appendage, as it were filling out their mythology. Th...

Re: Birth of the USA

Boy, this is a contentious subject, as I have just found out. I've not been a follower of countries and the issues surrounding their charts, but there has recently been big discussions concerning the dates given. Some of them are by people with good astrological knowledge, and a background in histor...

Re: Lilith/Black Moon

Well, I have followed the Lilith argument on other forums, and have never seen anything generate so much controversy, with so little actual documentation....not to mention that there are about four Liliths to consider, and no one can make up their mind which Lilith to use, ....so I remain very scept...

Re: House systems

I have always used Placidus by default, and being suspicious in general of all the argument surrounding hose systems, and none of the given rationale being of any sense to me when I read them. I have gradually leaned towards a Quadrant type of looking at a chart, giving more emphasis to that than be...

Re: astrology is?

Like most things of the natural universe, Astrology is beyond our comprehension. We have figured out just enough to work with it a tiny bit, but we really don't understand it. IT works. Those of us here who have spent any time actually doing charts can tell you that. We don't know HOW it works. But ...
